THREE BUSTED WITH NARCOTICS IN SOGAKOPE

Custom officers at the Sogakope checkpoint have arrested a Nigerian with a substance believed to be Cocaine. The young man who was later identified as Endurance Uche Nna 39, had two others in his company and have been brought to Accra for further investigations.

Endurance Uche Nna, Eric Alorbu 39, a Ghanian, and another Ghanaian identified as Agbeko Amegavi were arrested at around 11:47 a.m on the 29th of June 2021 at the Sogakope checkpoint in the Volta region with some substance which was later tested and confirmed as Cocaine.

The three parcels which weighed

1846.2 g, 1086.1 g, 1076.1 g were all later
Confirmed to be Cocaine.

According to the officers who made the arrest, the parcels were being transported from Nigeria to Ghana.

Currently, the three suspects and parcels have been transferred to the National headquarters of Customs in Accra for further investigations.
