“One man no chop”: NPP youth wing in Ho wants the removal of Dr. Archibald as Regional Minister


NPP Youth Wing within the 18 constituencies met at the Volta Regional capital Ho to protest against

Dr. Archibald Y. Letsa currently appointed Volta Regional Minister.

Adoa Tv news reporter Capt. George McClean In a phone interview with Torgbui Azalekor the NPP Volta regional grassroots leader asserted that the current Minister has been on the Ministerial position for 4 years but performed poorly on negotiations to the Volta region.

He discloses that Dr. Archibald was approached by the party leadership to contest as a parliamentary candidate in the year 2018, but declined the offer by the Leaders.

“We need someone that will contest as a Parliamentary candidate before becoming a minister,” he said.

He further disclosed that Dr. Archibald does not collaborate with Party executives in the constituency neither does he attend Campaign grounds to help the Party. Torgbui Azalekor said, the Current appointed regional Minister has withheld assets that were supposed to be given out to the Region to aid in 2020 election campaigns.



UCC strike closure of basic school, data bank on temporal shutdown

The demonstrators are therefore calling on the President to reconsider Dr. Archibald as the Minister and appoint someone that is more responsible in the Constituency.
