Covid-19 :Akufo-Addo extends border shutdown to slow Covid-19 spread


Ghana’s borders will remain closed for the next two weeks.

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has by a new Executive Instrument, EI 66, extended the closure of the country’s borders effective Sunday, April 5, the Minister of Information has stated.

In a number of tweets, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah says the “tough” decision was taken to ensure that the risk of importation of coronavirus cases are curtailed.
