The Chairman for CR72, Mr. Kwame Brefo Koduah has advised Ghanaians
to developed the habit of reforestation.
Briefing the media when the company embarked on a training for some youths in
the Ashanti Region to operate maintenance services to all green zones, provide horticultural
services and routine maintenance of gardens on most roads in the municipalities, aimed at creating
New Garden City.
He said, the chopping down of trees without re- planting them has contributed to the pollution
of water bodies which as a result can lead to extinct of our various water bodies and can create
a burden on the consumers.
Mr. Kwame Brefo Koduah further hinted that, the company will employ about two thousand
youths across the region of which they will plant trees in both domestic houses and the public to
improve quality breathing and health conditions as well as creating a better environment.
However, the Metro Landscape Designer , department of parks and gardens- Kumasi,
Mr. Nkansah Kyere also said, the doors of parks and gardens are open for counselling
and assisting individuals in designing their landscape.
